Falmouth

The basic tour takes you six miles up the river and return, during which a running commentary is given by your captain/ tour guide on both the ecology and a little history of the area. Over 100 species of birds have been recorded in the Black River morass and many are seen during your trip.

Nestled between the trees and the lush, green vegetation of Wilshire in Anchovy is the Rocklands Bird Sanctuary. The sanctuary is home to at least 15 of Jamaica’s most exquisite bird species including doves, finches, hummingbirds also Doctor birds (Jamaica’s national bird). The bird sanctuary is located at a quaint little house, home to a local Jamaican.

Take a very scenic trip along the coastline of the north coast. Stopping briefly at Columbus Park, Discovery Bay to take photos of the very spot where the Spanish, headed by Christopher Columbus landed when they discovered Jamaica in the year 1494.

This place is MAGICAL!!! Glistening Waters is a glowing lagoon on the north coast of Jamaica. This marvel is only found in 4 places in the world, however, this lagoon is the brightest of them all due to more consistent climate. Here, the fresh water from the Martha Brae River meets the salt-water ocean and this amazing creation is formed.
